Easy Homemade Sriracha Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Lb Red Jalapeños Stemmed and chopped
  • ½ Lb Red Bell Peppers Stemmed and chopped
  • 1 Head Garlic Peeled
  • ¼ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Blend the peppers and garlic:
    In a blender or food processor, add your peppers and garlic. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth.
  • Prepare the sauce:
    Transfer the blended mixture to a saucepan. Stir in the vinegar, sugar, and salt until well combined.
  • Simmer the mixture:
    Place the saucepan on low heat and simmer the mixture for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cool and blend again:
    Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the mixture to cool completely. Once cooled, blend the mixture again until smooth.
  • Strain the sauce:
    Using a fine-mesh sieve, strain the sauce to remove any solids for a smoother consistency.
  • Store and refrigerate:
    Pour the strained sauce into a jar or airtight container. Store your homemade sriracha in the refrigerator.
